About this course
Food insecurity is a global problem. Society has made progress in alleviating global hunger, but the problem persists. Agriculture negatively impacts the environment at multiple steps from its production to consumption, destroying many ecosystems, contributing greatly to fossil fuel emissions through transportation, and creating food waste. To ensure food security for all, global hunger must be met with sustainable solutions. This course provides such solutions as well as an understanding of food security.
